Privacy
What this site records about a visit, and what it does not.
Analytics
InfoHelper uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the analytics and advertising storage is switched off by default (Google's Consent Mode, set to "denied"), so no analytics cookie is set there. Elsewhere Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives the page address, the referring page and technical details of the browser. How Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
The report form
The form on the About page stores your message and the time it was sent. The e-mail field is optional; if you fill it in, the address is used only to reply to that message and is deleted after 90 days. The message itself is kept without the address.
To limit abuse the server keeps a salted hash of the sender's IP address until the next day. The form sets no cookie.
Server logs
Like any web server, the one that hosts this site writes an access log: the IP address, the time and the page requested. It is used to keep the site running and is not combined with anything else.
Questions
